Community Dinner: Protecting Our Waters

Grow Benzie and Northern Michigan Culinary Arts Community host bi-weekly dinner discussions through the winter. Meals are made from scratch and guest speakers lead the friendly conversation and idea exchange with attendees. “Protecting Our Waters” will focus on efforts from local organizations dedicated to protecting local watersheds. A panel will feature representatives from the Platte Watershed Initiative, the Herring Lake Watershed and the Betsie Watershed Planning Board. The discussion will be facilitated by John Ransom, Conservation Specialist with the Benzie Conservation District.

Tuesday, April 19th, 6pm

Public is welcome.

How much?
NMCAC dinners are prepared by local foodservice professionals and feature locally-produced ingredients. There is a suggested donation of $9/person with all “profits” going towards NMCAC’s 2016 Culinary Scholarship fund, to be awarded to a Benzie County student.
