Woodshop Make & Take: Beehive Baseboards

WHAT?
Wood Shop Series: Part #2, Baseboards is the opportunity to work in the woodshop at Benzie Central High School under the direction of two staff to create your own baseboard for your bee hive. Depending on participation, you will walk away with the finished, multi-season baseboard.

WHEN?
Tuesday, May 2nd from 3:00-5:00pm
:15 min orientation
:1 hr work
:15 min cleanup

WHAT DO I BRING?
– A willingness to work on industrial wood shop tools.
– Safety glasses (Although a few are around the shop.)
– Appropriate clothing for a woodshop. (You will get saw dust all over and please, no loose
clothing that may get caught in machinery.)

HOW MUCH?
$25 per participant for baseboard production.
$10 per participant for general woodshop use.

WHERE?
In the HS woodshop located behind the school, across from the cardboard recycling trailer
