This will be a 2 for 1 night.
There has been a lot of interest expressed in forming a regularly meeting "Fermentation Guild." A group for long time fermentators and beginners to get together and learn from one another. Covering a wide range of topics from pickled veggies to sourdough to kombucha to cider. The possiblities are wide open.
The first half of the evening will be a potluck (please bring a dish to share) for those interested in forming a fermentation guild. We can discuss potential topics, gage interest, and what people are looking for the guild to accomplish.
The second half of the evening Bernie and Sandee Ware, of Ware Farm, will be hosting the saurkraut workshop. Bernie and Sandee have a passion for fermenting and sharing their knowledge. This is a $5 workshop where participants will learn the ins and outs of fermenting cabbage and the powerful probiotics that are created through the process. Each participant will receive their own jar of saurkraut to take home.

How much is the workshop?
The potluck part is free, we just ask that you bring a dish to share with your fellow fermentors.
The workshop part is $5.00 per person (2 free spaces available as scholarship, call to reserve). Each person will get a jar of sauerkraut. Please RSVP or mark as "going" so we can gage how many supplies we will need.
