Scottish fiddle style player Ryan McKasson and vocalist and guitarist Eric McDonald are masters of tradition who purposefully explore the dark cor- ners floating on its edges. Their individ- ual artistry is enhanced when together - an alluring complexity, full of sponta- neous musicality. Pulling from parallel strands of influence, they create a swirl- ing level of intensity that traverses dark- ness, light, and everywhere in between. An air of mystery pervades a sound com- pelling enough to transcend boundaries and appeal to music lovers of all stripes.
