Presented by the practitioners of Freshwater Wellness:
Christina Ryan-Stoltz, LMT: Christina has been a massage therapist since 2001 and Master Bodyworker since 2005. She is passionate & curious by nature, and has cultivated her understanding of health, healing & spirituality—personally & professionally—by adding breadth & depth to her skill set with advanced studies & certification in holistic health, herbalism, energy healing and meditation.
Emily Eilers, DC: Dr. Eilers grew up in Benzie County and graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree with a focus in Kinesiology and Health. After graduating from ISU, she attended National University of Health Sciences, where she earned a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC). As a collegiate athlete, she has a special interest in pain management, but utilizes unique assessment strategies to examine the underlying emotional causes for musculoskeletal complaints.
Abigail Ellsworth, ND, RAc: Dr. Abigail completed her undergraduate degree in Zoology at University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a MS in Marine Biology from University of Alaska-Fairbanks. Her primary area of research was Reproductive Endocrinology, however, her time in the "upper 1" peaked her interested in circadian rhythms and mood disorders and inspired her to pursue a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine (ND) and Masters in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from the National University of Natural Medicine, in Portland, OR. She now combines her experiences in biomedical sciences, natural medicine (i.e. clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, lifestyle modifications) and Chinese Medicine (i.e. acupuncture) to collaborate with other healthcare providers and assist patients in achieving optimal health.
Katie Larsen LMSW: Katie completed her BA in psychology at Kalamazoo college followed by a Master's in Social Work at MSU. Katie has been serving individuals, families and children for 15 years with special interests and training in trauma, infant mental health, anxiety and depression. The mind body connection has always fascinated her and led her to study meditation and obtain certification in Reiki.
Tamra Ward, LMT: a massage therapist since 2007, her style is a blend of modalities, specializing in Ashiatsu. Ashiatsu is a barefoot massage that focuses a slow, deep pressure through the body’s meridians. Tamra’s own devotion to wellness, yoga, growing good food and kayaking Michigan’s rivers adds to her practice.
