Mondays from 2-6:00pm
June 4th – August 27th
Mondays afternoons at Grow Benzie are more than just a farmers market. Our farmstead offers an experience that combines fun and food with old friends and new. Come ready to enjoy local music, a tasty dish from the Grill Benzie food truck, or some time playing on our edible mini-golf course or along the walking trails w/learning stations throughout our 4-acre property. Every week features multiple special events like food preserving workshops, gardening classes, and culinary demonstrations. From contests to horse-drawn carriage rides, there's fun for the whole family and folks of all ages. Click here for the calendar with daily event details.
Grow Benzie is partnering with Munson Healthcare and Shape Up North to provide fruit & vegetable prescription fulfillment at our Monday Farmers Market. Nearly $8,000 will be distributed to participants who attend a nutrition and culinary class during the market. Qualifying recipients will receive up to $100 in vouchers (in $25 increments) to shop for fruits and vegetables throughout the market. If you are obese or have been diagnosed with a chronic health disease and interested in participating, contact BACN, Benzie Senior Resources, Paul Oliver Memorial Hospital, or Crystal Lake Clinic.

In 2010, Grow Benzie instituted the MI Bridge Card program, plus became the administrator of the Double Up Food Bucks program for three local Farmers Markets in 2011, making fresh produce available to low income families. Since then, Grow Benzie has continued pursuing our goal of creating a destination experience for our market visitors, offering a wide variety of locally grown produce and products, live music and demonstrations. In 2016, we expanded our special weekly events such as tractor shows and food pairings, and provided freshly prepared, local menu items from our new food truck: Grill Benzie. Our facilities include plenty of parking, air-conditioned and indoor restroom facilities, self-guided tours of the farmstead and a relaxing picnic area to enjoy the summer afternoon.
