Grow Benzie Market

We’re sorry to announce that 2022 will be the last year that Grow Benzie hosts its Community Farmers Market. We’re very proud of the impact our Market had in the community. We will continue support and promote other Farm Markets in Benzie County.

History.

In 2009, Grow Benzie began providing garden plots for 20 individuals and established its own successful Farmer’s Market.  Since its beginnings, the Grow Benzie Farmer’s Market was designed with increasing our community’s access to quality, affordable, local food in mind.  For 13 years, we supported and hosted the farmer’s market as a way to support local food entrepreneurs and bring healthy food to Benzie County.

The Farmer’s Market served as a hub for workshops, crafts, connections with community organizations (including members of the Grow Benzie Hive), and bringing people together through food and nutrition.

In 2023, Grow Benzie will not be hosting the Farmer’s Market, but will continue our important work supporting and accelerating local food and farming enterprises.

Keep supporting local.

1) Sign-Up for a CSA with Bluebird Farm & Gardens to receive fresh, local produce. Pick-Up hosted at Grow Benzie on Tuesdays from 4-6PM beginning June 6th.

2) Support local makers, growers, and business owners at Frankfort on Saturdays and Elberta Farmer’s Markets on Thursdays.

3) Purchase delicious local food from food and farming enterprises operating out of the Grow Benzie commercial kitchen.
