The Art Guild

The Art Guild is a collective of artists and art lovers creating opportunities for connection and collaboration in Benzie County.

History

The Art Guild at Grow Benzie is a collective of artists and art lovers.  The collective works in pursuit of supporting, sustaining, creating, and inspiring art-related activities in Benzie County and our region.

The guild works to foster community resiliency, raise awareness of social issues, and heighten the urgency of self-care through artistic expression and inspiration.  The guild’s mission is to bring exposure, access, and community to rural artists - living, or connected to, Northern Michigan.

Each person is in a different outfit: one in a green sweater and corduroy pants, one in pink pajamas, and one in a blue hooded shirt and sweatpants. There are other people and flags visible in the background.

Goals:

  1. Offering community-based art workshops for artisans of all skill levels.

  2. Increasing access to the arts for all.

  3. Celebrating and uplifting art in its many forms.
